In December, criminal defense attorney Cassandra Snapp lectured on the criminal appellate court, giving an overview of the process. Ms. Snapp is an associate with The Law Offices of Mark L. Horwitz, P.A. and works in the area of criminal law, including white collar crime and appeals.
The presentation took place as part of the seminar “Appeals and Extraordinary Writs for the Criminal Law Practitioner.” The seminar was sponsored by the Orange County Bar Association Appellate Practice Committee and held in Orlando, Florida.
Ms. Snapp worked as a law clerk in the Fourth District Court of Appeal for many years, giving her an intimate knowledge of the appeals process. She has also worked with Orange County Public Defenders Office, handling appeals, and continues to have an active appellate law practice.
